Demand More - Model-based Automated Regulation of Ventilation Exhaust Levels

M.A.R.V.E.L. incorporates Haltons patent for the unique method of Demand Control Ventilation and incorporates IRIS (infrared Radiation Index Sensor) technology to acquire the equipments heat signature. An infrared beam measures changes in cooking surface temperature to adjust airflow ensuring the safe removal of heat and contaminants while maximizing savings and comfort.

  • Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) adjusting hood exhaust air flow based on appliance status for single hood, single fan operation.
  • DCV adjusts hood exhaust air flow depending on appliance status of multiple hoods connected to a single fan system.
  • Automatic system calibration and balancing.
  • Automatic check of missing filters.
  • Automatic fan check.
  • Compliance with the new IMC code, Halton offers three options for the system start-up:
    • Automatic upon any of the appliances being turned on
    • On schedule (programmable for a week)
    • Manual by pressing a start button
