Halton Foodservice solutions for dishwashing areas are designed to guarantee the removal of heat and steam, while also taking the air distribution into account.

Application requirements

The dishwashing process and equipment produce heat and water vapours that require specially adapted steam extraction technologies for capture, condensation, and removal of steam from the washing zone -where grease filtration is not the main requirement. In order to provide productive indoor climate conditions, replacement air is required to compensate for extracted air volume.

Optimal solutions

The Halton Condensate Canopy with supply air has been specially developed to cover equipment that produces steam, and its internal volume enables the removal of large volumes of air for extraction.

Application based on Condensate Canopy with supply air

  • Halton Condensate Canopy KVD uses angled internal baffles and deflectors to achieve condensation
  • Efficient exhaust operation is maintained by using lateral side slots combined with the large internal volume
  • Draught-free air distribution is supplied directly into the working zone from the front-face, low-velocity supply diffuser
  • Individual supply nozzles are adjustable to produce increased velocities in the working zone near the equipment
  • The modular construction simplifies design and installation
  • Adjustment and measurement of air-flow are carried out using the MSM and TAB™ measuring tap in combination with a damper plate within the spigot
