Halton's new factory in China was officially opened
Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. moved from WQC Free Trade Zone to a business park in Lingang, Pudong. The official opening ceremony of the new Halton Shanghai factory was held 21st of October.
"The move enables us to serve better our customers in mainland China. The relocation also enables us to have larger production facilities and premises for our growth" comments, Tuomas Lilleberg General Manager of Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) predominantly manufactures damper products for shipbuilding industry and oil & gas applications. The product range also includes manual cabin units with diffusers and KSA filters for Halton Foodservice. The company concentrates on serving customers in the Asia Pacific Region.
The opening ceremony was performed by Lingang government representatives, Consul General of Finland Matti Heimonen, Chairman of Board MIka Halttunen, CEO Heikki Rinne and General Manager Tuomas Lilleberg.
