New Halton EIS 60 fire damper reduces installation time and effort

Halton introduces a new fire damper to EIS 60 standard , which will be available in the summer of 2008.  The Halton model FDI fire damper is easier and quicker  to install than old-fashioned, traditional fire dampers. Like other EN rated fire dampers, the Halton model FDI is approved for all installation orientations and all wall - ceiling constructions.

The construction of the new Halton model FDI fire damper supports very fast installation compared to existing fire dampers, as the product is equipped with an all-purpose installation  frame. The construction enables installation from one side only without the need to seal from the other side of the wall/ceiling. The product is both light-weight and compact, making iteasy to install limited spaces and modular installations.

Halton model FDI, like all Halton fire, smoke and smoke evacuation dampers, is approved for use in all installations (concrete, masonry and lightweight walls and floors) up to the stated fire class. In addition, the dampers are ready to be installed in all usages as delivered, as the product contains an all-purpose installation frame. Broad application area enables fast specification and simple ordering, delivery and storage of products. As products are suitable for all installation cases as delivered, pricing of the products is simple and competitive.
